Salary: $172,940 per annum

Duties

Lead the operational and strategic activities related to Years 11 and 12 provision in the broader context of Years 9 – 12, with specific responsibilities for team leadership to support Years 11 and 12 Regional Partnerships and schools with the management of resources, education and business improvements, and the related monitoring, performance and accountability processes. A key objective is to increase student engagement, retention and attainment in Years 11 and 12.

Period of Appointment

1 January 2022 for up to twenty four months.

Hours per fortnight

70 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.

A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.

The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

Desirable Requirements

Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.

A current driver’s licence.
