Chair in Marketing Science and Analytics

Our research interests in marketing science cover fields such as marketing performance management, marketing analytics including ML/AI applications, and brand management, but are not limited to these. Skills in digital marketing, social media marketing, machine learning, text analysis, and other computer science based deep learning methods will be an added advantage.

YOUR TASKS

» involvement in international high-quality research projects and implementation of own research projects and to present them at international conferences

» opportunity of habilitation at an internationally renowned university

» teaching within the school‘s marketing program (4 semester week hours)

» the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to grow into co-leadership of the chair and research projects

YOUR PROFILE

» an excellent master’s and Ph.D. degree in marketing, business, or related fields

» profound knowledge in quantitative research methods, data analytics and data mining techniques

» strong analytical (quantitative) abilities

» excellent English skills

» high level of commitment, flexibility and a strong ability to work in a team

The position is available from 15.11.2021 on a full-time basis. It is limited to 14.11.2024 with the option of extension for three more years. If the necessary prerequisites required by civil service law as well as the sought-after personal qualifications are met, the salary will correspond to the pay grade A13 State Civil Service Remuneration Regulation of North Rhine-Westphalia (LBesO A NRW).
