What does the job look like?

As the Operations Processing Coordinator, you are responsible for being the first point of contact for drivers and customers. You will provide support to the customers, in line with safety, compliance and customer requirements as well as organise drivers to complete deliveries in line with contractual requirements.

Key Areas:
Proactively resolve operational issues with customer and driver’s safety in mind – including safety incidents, rejections, or delays on site.

Communicating and working collaboratively with customers to ensure delays and/or service issues are communicated proactively to the business.

Working alongside a supportive team in a fast-paced environment to ensure that physical execution of the work is carried as per the system, in a safe and sustainable way.

Providing frequent communication and data with management regarding status and logistics of deliveries/pick-ups, to ensure quality service is provided.

Lead by example with safety and compliance – ensuring all drivers are compliant and safe through actively conducting daily audits on fatigue, load restraint, Fit for Duty, and route assessments.

You are a team player that can coordinate and prioritise various tasks against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You can demonstrate:

Proven experience in the logistics industry is advantageous.

Sound communication skills, to manage the expectations of various stakeholders within the organisation.

A ‘solution’ driven approach to workload management, whilst never compromising on safety or legislative compliance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel.
