Your role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual for a Lab Head position in the TIP Oncology & Immuno-Oncology. The successful candidate will lead a research laboratory within the area of in vivo pharmacology oncology and be team member and/ or leader of multidisciplinary drug discovery and development teams within the area of Oncology. As an in vivo pharmacologist you will be responsible for the management, the design, implementation, execution and reporting of research experiments. As an oncology expert you take responsibility to successfully accomplish critical project related activities, you propose and initiate drug discovery programs and contribute to the evaluation of external program proposals. The position will be based in Darmstadt, Germany.

Who you are:
PhD in Cancer Biology/Pharmacology or a related scientific discipline with 3 + years of job-related experience (at least 1 year of related experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company)

Excellent knowledge in Oncology research, in animal models of cancer and a pertinent publication record

Hands-on experience with animal models of cancer and xenograft tumor studies is a must

Demonstrated ability to think critically and independently

Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

Fluency in English, written and oral
