Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Service IT Technician to monitor and maintain client servers, computer systems and networks infrastructure.

A successful Service IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • monitor client networks, servers, workstations and network infrastructure
  • maintain servers, computers and necessary peripheral devices, including printers, scanners
  • manage, troubleshoot and configure switches, access points, routers, firewalls and other network infrastructure
  • install and configure appropriate software and configure according to specifications
  • ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
  • maintain records/logs of maintenance, repairs and fixes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
